Creative Child Component for Family Learning Programs

Bookmates SCRIBBLES focuses on quality creative children's programs as an important component of family learning programs. It also addresses the many challenges of supervising young children with attention paid to their safety and comfort. To achieve this goal this training incorporates information from On the Road to Best Practice, a publication of the Council of Coalitions and Healthy Child Manitoba. SCRIBBLES responds to the need for training community members in making activities for children in family learning programs more meaningful and effective.

This training will provide strategies for sharing ideas and facilitation skills for child minders.

SCRIBBLES would be beneficial to program supervisors, parent-child coalition coordinators, family learning facilitators and child minders working in community programs.

This is a two day training.
