Bookmates Play to Learn, Learn to Play

Bookmates Play to Learn, Learn to Play is a five week parent and child program which focuses on the power of play. Parents have the chance to explore the importance of play through group discussion, bookmaking, songs and games. Parents are encouraged to see the value of play in their children's lives as well as their own lives. Children have an opportunity to explore their world by choosing activities at a variety of play centres. Parents engage in child-led play with their own child. Families join together for group games and songs.

Training participants learn to facilitate Bookmates Play to Learn, Learn to Play and receive a program manual complete with all the information needed to run the program.

This is a two day training.
