Bookmates Getting Ready for School

Bookmates Getting Ready for School is a program for parents that will increase their skills and confidence in preparing their child (and their family) for school. It focuses on encouraging parents to understand what they are already doing right, while providing information and hands-on ideas to further learning together at home.

Facilitators learn to identify the needs of their group and to support families through this important transition period. This program is focused on parent time activities but could be adapted to suit a parent-child program.

This is a one day training.
